You could say that planning and designing retail centers and commercial office buildings is in our DNA. They represent the first projects we did when we opened our doors, and today we continue to be among the most influential architects in the arena. We have master planned and designed new "power centers," community retail centers, and individual "big box" retail stores. We also have extensive experience in strategic repositioning of existing facilities and community shopping center rehabilitation. Our retail clients and projects are located throughout the eastern United States. In addition, we have completed hundreds of new and renovated office projects requiring complex planning and programming.

This is an area where our renovation and preservation background makes a difference. Were able to make spaces more adaptive and efficient. It's also where our commitment to being a market partner is important. Jonathan McGowan, one of the founding partners at KANN, heads our retail division.
